| Park Place Children's Center Hires Executive Chef |
5-30-09
You've probably noticed that a new preschool is
being built at 205 Batesville Road. This is near the intersection of Batesville
Road and Woodruff Road, commonly called Five Forks by the local citizens. The
school has rapidly sprouted from what was once an abandoned residence. The old
home was razed and an enormous 20,000 square foot facility is being constructed.
Cindy Weathers, the owner, reports that when complete, the facility will care for
and educate 198 preschool children, ages six (6) weeks to four (4) years old and
for fifteen (15) afterschool children.
Today, Ms. Weathers announced that Jean Jones has
been named the executive chef for the preschool. She will use her culinary
training to provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for the children.
The preschool is currently hiring for a late
August to early September 2009 opening. For more information
